Robinhood posts record Q2 revenue; crypto revenue down 38%
Robinhood reported record Q2 revenue of $1.31 billion and net income of $573 million; cryptocurrency transaction revenue fell 38% to $100 million.
Robinhood reported record second-quarter revenue of $1.31 billion and net income of $573 million in its earnings report on Wednesday. Revenue rose 32% from a year earlier and net income increased 48%.
Cryptocurrency transaction revenue fell 38% year over year to $100 million, down from about $160 million in the prior-year period.
The firm reported $40 billion in crypto trading volume for the quarter. Of that total, $18 billion occurred on the Robinhood app and $22 billion came from Bitstamp, the crypto exchange Robinhood acquired in June 2025.
Robinhood completed its acquisition of Canadian crypto platform WonderFi during the quarter. The company plans to expand its crypto offerings in the United Kingdom.
During the quarter Robinhood launched the public mainnet of Robinhood Chain, introduced tokenized U.S. stocks to eligible users in more than 120 countries, and debuted a decentralized lending product called Robinhood Earn.
Robinhood reported growth in its Agentic Trading service, with nearly 100,000 customer accounts enrolled and those accounts holding more than $100 million in assets under custody.
Shares of Robinhood fell about 3.2% on Wednesday ahead of the company’s earnings release. The company did not provide a breakdown of how much revenue came from brokerage services, subscriptions or margin products in the materials it released.
