Global leaders convene in Zurich for CV Summit 2026
Franklin Templeton, Ripple, Binance, BlackRock and Deutsche Bank will attend CV Summit 2026 in Zurich Sept. 29–30 to discuss institutional digital assets and AI.
CV Summit 2026 will bring senior executives and policymakers to Zurich on Sept. 29–30 to discuss institutional use cases for digital assets and artificial intelligence. Organisers CV VC and CV Labs say the conference will focus on how financial firms, banks and asset managers apply tokenization and AI in operations, markets and wealth management.
The two-day event at Kongresshaus Zurich is scheduled to include more than 200 speakers and expects over 3,000 senior attendees. Programming runs across three stages-Anchor, Catalyst and Deep Dive-and centres on four tracks: Financial Infrastructure, Tokenization of Capital Markets, AI and the Intelligent Economy, and Wealth and Asset Management. A dedicated networking area will operate alongside the stages.
International firms listed as attending include Franklin Templeton, Ripple, Binance, BlackRock, Standard Chartered, Deutsche Bank and Moody’s. Named speakers include Christopher Perkins, head of Franklin Crypto; Cassie Craddock, managing director UK & Europe at Ripple; Catherine Chen, lead of VIP & Institution at Binance; Dirk Klee, country head Switzerland at BlackRock; Marianne Webber, head of market and regulatory strategy, digital assets, at Standard Chartered; Manuel Klein, head of market management, payments & digital currencies at Deutsche Bank; and Vincent Gusdorf, head of digital finance research & AI analytics at Moody’s.
Swiss participants named by organisers include PostFinance, Maerki Baumann, Luzerner Kantonalbank, UBS, Zürcher Kantonalbank, Sygnum, GenTwo, the SIX group and ISP. The presenting partner is Franklin Templeton, and organisers list more than 60 additional partners from Switzerland, the United States, Europe and the UAE, including industry groups such as the Crypto Valley Association and the Swiss Blockchain Federation.
CV Summit 2026 is an official event on the Road to Geneva programme ahead of the Geneva AI Summit in 2027. Benedek Orban, head of ecosystem at CV VC & CV Labs, stated: “CV Summit unites the players and pioneers shaping what is possibly the biggest moment in time: the AI age.”
Organisers point to Switzerland’s regulatory and technology environment when explaining the choice of venue. Switzerland was among the first countries to set legal clarity for digital assets; organisers say 54 of the country’s 225 banks are active in the digital asset space. Crypto Valley is reported to host nearly 1,800 firms and to receive 47% of Europe’s blockchain funding, according to the CV VC Top 50 & Ecosystem Report.
On technology and talent, organisers cite the Swiss Deep Tech Report 2026 and the Stanford AI Index Report 2026. The Swiss report is cited as showing that 63% of venture capital flows go to deep tech on a per-capita basis, higher than figures reported for China and the United States. The Stanford report ranks Switzerland first globally in AI talent density. Organisers add that Zurich hosts seven of the world’s ten leading technology and AI companies and that about 70% of more than 185 AI entities based in the city are Swiss-made.
Sessions scheduled for Sept. 29–30 include discussions on market and regulatory strategy, payments and digital currencies, digital finance research and AI analytics at Kongresshaus Zurich.
