Streamex brings 24/7 gold token to brokerages

Streamex launched 24/7 trading of its gold token GLDY on Solana and on June 29, 2026 placed an institutional version into brokerage channels via Siebert Financial and tZERO.

Streamex launched round‑the‑clock trading of its gold-backed token GLDY on Solana and on June 29, 2026 made an institutional, regulated version available to brokerage accounts through a collaboration with FINRA-member Siebert Financial and the regulated platform tZERO.

The GLDY token has traded on a Solana-based pool on the decentralized exchange Orca since May, providing continuous on‑chain access to a gold-backed asset. The June 29 offering is a separate, institution-facing product marketed to verified accredited investors under Rule 506(c) of Regulation D and distributed into broker-dealer channels via Siebert and tZERO.

Streamex plans a distinct retail product for everyday investors that the company says will be tradeable across Solana decentralized exchanges including Jupiter, Meteora and Orca, and manageable with on‑chain wallets such as Phantom, Solflare and Backpack. The firm has indicated the retail product is expected to offer a yield similar to the institutional version, up to roughly 3.5% per year, though final terms and availability will depend on regulatory approvals and product development.

Henry McPhie, co-founder and CEO of Streamex, said, “Markets close; gold doesn’t stop moving. We think the natural home for an asset that trades on global sentiment is a market that’s open whenever that sentiment shifts, including nights, weekends and holidays.” The company is listed on Nasdaq under the ticker STEX.

Streamex describes GLDY as a regulated security in the institutional channel and frames the retail product as a separate offering subject to jurisdictional restrictions. The firm also notes that plans for future products are forward-looking and may change.

Tokenized gold is a heavily traded category in digital assets, and a growing share of that trading occurs outside traditional market hours because on‑chain venues remain open continuously. Streamex is building a tokenization platform focused on real-world assets beginning with commodities; the institutional channel opened on June 29, 2026 and the retail channel is expected to roll out in the coming months, subject to regulatory and product timelines.

Trading digital assets involves significant risk, including the potential loss of capital. GLDY is offered to verified accredited investors as a restricted security under Rule 506(c) of Regulation D, and retail availability is not guaranteed across all jurisdictions.
