Prosus launches ToqanClaw, GDPR-focused no-code AI agent

Prosus launched ToqanClaw, a no-code AI platform that builds tools from plain-language prompts and keeps user data in Europe as a GDPR-compliant alternative to OpenClaw.

Prosus has launched ToqanClaw, a no-code platform that creates custom tools and automations from plain-language prompts. The company says the product runs on its own AI systems and infrastructure and is being offered across a network of more than five million restaurants, merchants and entrepreneurs.

Prosus stated that data processed by ToqanClaw will remain under European control and will not be used to train third-party models, positioning the platform as GDPR-compliant for organizations subject to EU data rules. The product is integrated with Prosus’s Toqan AI platform and runs on the company’s own infrastructure.

Prosus has trained a Large Commerce Model using data from over a billion customers and hundreds of millions of daily interactions. The company says the model is intended to help agents move beyond simple task execution and anticipate business needs.

Prosus highlighted early results from commercial partners. A Dutch café chain reduced financial reporting from weeks to about 30 minutes and reported 40% year-on-year revenue growth after deploying the platform. Another partner increased deliveries by 25% and cut overtime by 60%.

Alongside ToqanClaw, Prosus introduced Zapia, a consumer-facing assistant aimed at planning, booking and price comparison. In a company statement, CEO Fabricio Bloisi described Zapia as an assistant that users can instruct in natural language to complete everyday tasks.

The launch comes as agent-style AI products face regulatory scrutiny in Europe. Regulators have raised concerns about data handling and biometric uses in some systems, and German authorities have taken action over certain identity-related uses of biometric data.

Prosus is marketing ToqanClaw to businesses that want to automate reporting, customer service and logistics while keeping sensitive information under local control. The company did not disclose pricing or a full rollout timetable, and indicated the platform will be made available to partners across its ecosystem.

In its announcement, Prosus wrote: ‘Built in-house and integrated with Prosus’ own AI platform, Toqan, it brings many of OpenClaw’s features into a secure environment, where your data stays under your control and is never used to train third-party models.’
