Exodus adds native XRPL tools and RLUSD support

Exodus rolled out in-wallet tools to manage and send XRP and added support for Ripple USD (RLUSD) in an expanded product collaboration with Ripple.

Exodus Movement Inc. said on April 16 it is expanding native support for the XRP Ledger inside its self-custody wallet by adding in-wallet tools to manage and send XRP and by supporting Ripple USD (RLUSD). The Phoenix-based company trades on NYSE American under the ticker EXOD.

The update lets users hold, send and swap XRP directly through the Exodus wallet interface. Exodus also said it developed additional in-wallet support for RLUSD in collaboration with Ripple.

Exodus linked the rollout to on-platform usage, noting that XRP ranks among the most active assets on its platform by user activity and swap volume.

JP Richardson, Exodus’ CEO and co-founder, described the change as a practical enhancement to the wallet experience: “Expanding XRPL support means more ways to use XRP without sacrificing self-custody or the simplicity of the Exodus experience. XRP is already a top asset in our wallet, and partnering with Ripple is a natural next step in making it easier to use every day.”

Lauren Berta, Ripple’s Stablecoin Product Lead, said RLUSD will give users additional options for storing and moving value: “Exodus is enhancing the self-custody experience for XRP, and the addition of RLUSD gives users even more flexibility in how they store and move value.”

Exodus and Ripple said they will continue working together to expand XRPL and RLUSD support over time and described the collaboration as focused on in-wallet functionality rather than a broader branding partnership.

The XRP Ledger is the blockchain that issues XRP. Ripple has described RLUSD as an enterprise-grade stablecoin designed with an emphasis on regulatory compliance, transparency and use for payments and transfers.

Exodus said the update responds to user demand for native blockchain access inside self-custody wallets, where users control their private keys while managing and moving tokens. The company framed the announcement as a set of product-level integrations for XRP and RLUSD within the Exodus wallet review.
