Ether ETFs Draw $82M as BlackRock Exit Weighs on Bitcoin
Ether ETFs drew $82.37 million on June 8 as BlackRock’s IBIT saw a $232.92 million redemption, leaving bitcoin ETFs with a $91.37 million net outflow; HYPE ETFs added $2.47 million.
On June 8, ether exchange-traded funds recorded $82.37 million of net inflows while bitcoin ETFs posted a $91.37 million net outflow after BlackRock’s IBIT registered a $232.92 million redemption. HYPE thematic ETFs returned to inflows with $2.47 million.
Bitcoin ETFs showed inflows at several issuers that were offset by the large IBIT redemption. Ark & 21Shares’ ARKB added $63.14 million, Fidelity’s FBTC took in $59.37 million, Bitwise’s BITB drew $14.12 million and Morgan Stanley’s MSBT added $4.91 million. Total value traded in bitcoin ETFs was $2.78 billion and total net assets in the category closed at $79.63 billion.
Ether ETFs saw inflows across seven issuers. Fidelity’s FETH led with $28.57 million, BlackRock’s ETHB added $26.90 million and BlackRock’s ETHA added $17.82 million. Grayscale’s Ether Mini Trust added $8.00 million, Bitwise’s ETHW brought in $3.02 million, 21Shares’ TETH added $1.26 million and Invesco’s QETH added $503,000. Vaneck’s ETHV declined by $3.70 million. Ether ETFs traded $580.19 million in value and had $9.36 billion in net assets at the close.
HYPE ETFs returned to positive flows with $2.47 million, led by Bitwise’s BHYP at $1.79 million and Grayscale’s HYPG at $675,310. HYPE funds traded $31.91 million and held $177.83 million in net assets. Solana ETFs posted a $471,650 net outflow; Fidelity’s FSOL added $795,420 and 21Shares’ TSOL added $196,780 while Bitwise’s BSOL lost $1.46 million. Solana ETFs traded $54.07 million and held $773.31 million in net assets. XRP ETFs reported no trading activity on the day.
Flows were concentrated among major issuers and left the overall crypto ETF picture mixed on June 8.
