D’CENT integrates ChangeNOW swap layer into wallet

D’CENT added ChangeNOW’s swap layer to its hardware wallet, enabling in-wallet token swaps and helping the company pass 1 million registered users and $8.5M revenue in 2025.

D’CENT integrated ChangeNOW’s swap layer into its hardware wallet to enable in-wallet token swaps that connect project discovery, reward claims and transactions. ChangeNOW provides liquidity access, routing and swap execution while D’CENT keeps custody of private keys and control of device security. The integration allows users to discover projects, claim rewards and convert tokens without leaving the device.

D’CENT launched in 2017 and released its first hardware wallet in 2018. The company built the product with security features including Secure Element chips, a custom operating system, secure firmware processes, mass-production controls and multi-chain signing support. Hardware development required supply-chain and firmware work for every change, which shaped the company’s product priorities.

As users put more value on self-custody, D’CENT added transaction features inside the wallet rather than asking users to leave the device to act. Building an in-house exchange would have required teams for liquidity management, routing, rate handling, asset coverage, transaction processing, partner support and compliance. Integrating an external swap provider added swap capability without creating in-house exchange operations.

By 2025 the company reported more than 1 million cumulative registered wallets, over 40,000 daily active users and annual revenue above $8.5 million. Hardware sales revenue for 2025 nearly tripled compared with 2024. The product expanded beyond its regional base and ranked among the top five hardware wallet brands globally, with notable adoption among XRP holders.

D’CENT ran in-wallet campaigns to link users with projects. A seasonal campaign called Tap That Drop let users find partners and earn Web3 rewards inside the wallet. When paired with ChangeNOW’s swap layer, claimed tokens could be converted into stablecoins or other core assets immediately after claim, keeping discovery, reward and conversion inside the wallet interface.

Operationally, ChangeNOW handled exchange operations outside D’CENT’s internal teams while D’CENT kept responsibility for key storage and device integrity. The partnership enabled cross-chain conversions and added transaction revenue and user engagement to the hardware wallet experience.
