Coinbase to Launch Single-Account Everything Exchange
Coinbase will unveil on June 16 a single-account Everything Exchange to trade crypto, nearly 10,000 stocks and ETFs, cash, prediction markets and perpetual futures with immediate, 24/7 settlement.
Coinbase will present the next phase of its Everything Exchange on June 16, offering a single account to trade cryptocurrencies, nearly 10,000 stocks and ETFs, cash, U.S. prediction markets and perpetual futures with immediate settlement and round-the-clock access.
In a June 12 post and an article by Coinbase’s head of consumer and business products, the company described a unified account that combines trading, lending, borrowing, prediction markets and card rewards. The account will use stablecoin balances for cash functions and is billed as operating continuously rather than following traditional market hours.
Perpetual futures are included to support continuous leveraged trading outside regular market hours. The company highlighted integrated decentralized exchange activity inside its app, which it says will let users trade on-chain and swap assets across categories. The company wrote ‘Trade any asset live on a decentralized exchange directly from the Coinbase app. Swap between bitcoin, Tesla, and gold as seamlessly and as easily as sending a message.’
Coinbase first announced Everything Exchange in July 2025. The firm opened U.S. stock and ETF trading to eligible users in February 2026 and expanded integrated decentralized trading to 84 countries in March 2026. In May 2026 the company cited rising on-chain activity, growing stablecoin use, higher derivatives volume and expanding prediction-market participation as drivers for the platform.
Subscription features are already tied to the plan. Coinbase One members earn 3.5% annual yield on USD Coin (USDC) while it serves as collateral or waits for a limit order. The company wrote that USDC will function as a cash-like balance within the unified account. The company also described Coinbase Advisor, an AI tool that uses Coinbase data to offer automated guidance and said it plans to let users bring external agents to trade on their behalf.
The June 12 post did not include operational details on custody, regulatory oversight or how traditional broker-dealer functions will be integrated. The June 16 presentation is expected to provide rollout timelines, the list of supported securities and derivatives, and technical details on how instant settlement will work across asset types.
