Cardone Capital Tops 2,700 BTC as Bitcoin Slips Near $59K
Cardone Capital holds more than 2,700 BTC after buying 282 BTC on June 19, funded by rental income as bitcoin fell toward $59,000.
Cardone Capital holds more than 2,700 BTC after adding 282 BTC on June 19 as bitcoin slid toward $59,000. The June purchase of 282 BTC was worth roughly $18 million when bitcoin traded near $63,000. The firm reported about $200 million of bitcoin on its books as of May.
Grant Cardone’s firm uses rental income from its real estate portfolio to fund regular bitcoin purchases. The company places income-producing properties and bitcoin inside a single limited liability company and markets projected returns between 22% and 32%.
Cardone Capital’s property holdings include thousands of residential units and Class A office buildings. The firm channels recurring rental cash flow into steady purchases of bitcoin rather than tapping debt or issuing equity in capital markets.
Cardone is targeting 3,000 BTC by the end of 2026 and a longer-term goal of 10,000 BTC using the real-estate-funded model. He has proposed creating a publicly traded, bitcoin-focused real estate company and maintains a personal bitcoin price target of $189,425 for 2026.
The model differs from many corporate bitcoin holders that financed accumulation through debt or equity. Cardone has argued that routing rental income into bitcoin reduces reliance on debt maturities or share sales.
The plan carries risks. A decline in property cash flow, a slump in real estate values or a deeper pullback in crypto prices could slow or halt purchases. The firm’s position remains exposed to the same market volatility that has affected other corporate bitcoin holders as prices moved toward $59,000.
