BlackRock’s IBIT Leads June 16 Crypto ETF Inflows

On June 16, crypto ETFs had net inflows across bitcoin, ether, HYPE, XRP and Solana. Bitcoin ETFs added $10.06 million, led by BlackRock’s IBIT; ether ETFs gained $9.59 million.

On June 16, crypto exchange-traded funds recorded net inflows across bitcoin, ether, HYPE, XRP and Solana. Bitcoin ETFs posted $10.06 million in net inflows led by BlackRock’s IBIT, while ether ETFs added $9.59 million.

Bitcoin-focused products attracted $10.06 million overall. BlackRock’s IBIT drew $16.35 million. Grayscale’s Bitcoin Mini Trust added $4.35 million, Fidelity’s FBTC added $4.28 million and Morgan Stanley’s MSBT took in $1.88 million. Grayscale’s GBTC recorded an outflow of $16.81 million. Total trading volume for bitcoin ETFs was $1.26 billion and total net assets in the category stood at $82.06 billion.

Ether ETFs added $9.59 million. BlackRock’s ETHA led inflows with $17.34 million. Offsetting withdrawals included Bitwise’s ETHW (-$3.47 million), Fidelity’s FETH (-$2.23 million) and Grayscale’s Ether Mini Trust (-$2.05 million). Ether ETF trading volume was $404.21 million and net assets closed at $9.89 billion.

BlackRock’s iShares Bitcoin Premium Income ETF, BITA, was noted by investors as an income-focused product. The fund is listed with a 0.65% sponsor fee, pays monthly distributions and uses an actively managed options strategy. BITA holds spot bitcoin and exposure to IBIT and sells call options on part of its IBIT allocation to generate premium income; the option writing provides cash flow while capping upside on the covered portion.

Altcoin ETFs also saw inflows. HYPE funds added $8.62 million, led by Bitwise’s BHYP with $7.36 million and 21Shares’ THYP with $1.27 million. HYPE ETFs traded $45.86 million in value and had $234.33 million in net assets. Franklin’s XRPZ received $5.30 million, with $9.82 million traded and $1.06 billion in net assets. Vaneck’s VSOL contributed $245,860 to Solana ETFs, which traded $39.37 million and closed with $845.55 million in net assets.

Over the prior four trading days, inflows totaled $96 million and outflows totaled $83 million. For the first time in several days, every major crypto ETF category recorded inflows on a single session.
