BlackRock Adds $11.75M to ETHA as Ether ETFs Outpace Bitcoin

BlackRock added $11.75 million to ETHA on July 27, helping U.S. spot ether ETFs draw $9.23 million as bitcoin ETFs posted $11.64 million in net outflows for a third day.

BlackRock added $11.75 million to its ETHA ether ETF on July 27, and U.S. spot ether ETFs recorded $9.23 million in net inflows for the day. Bitcoin ETFs posted $11.64 million in net outflows, the third straight day of withdrawals.

Only two bitcoin funds reported net activity. BlackRock’s IBIT saw $8.82 million in outflows and Fidelity’s FBTC lost $2.82 million. Bitcoin ETFs traded about $1.34 billion in value and held combined net assets of $78.71 billion.

Ether ETFs traded about $775.34 million and closed with roughly $10.65 billion in net assets. BlackRock’s ETHA led the category with an $11.75 million addition. A $2.52 million withdrawal from Invesco’s QETH reduced the category total to $9.23 million. Ether ETFs have shown consistent inflows over the past week.

Solana products added about $1.03 million, with most flows directed to Bitwise’s BSOL; Solana ETFs traded around $39.55 million and held about $889.31 million in assets. XRP products gained $592,470, all to Franklin Templeton’s XRPZ, with combined XRP assets near $1 billion and trading value around $12.66 million.

HYPE thematic ETFs continued to lose capital, recording $2.89 million in net outflows. Bitwise’s BHYP accounted for about $2.24 million of the withdrawals and 21Shares’ THYP removed roughly $658,940. HYPE trading value was about $12.82 million and net assets fell to $279.22 million.

Giselle Lai, director and digital assets strategist at Fidelity International, noted that institutions often begin with bitcoin when building crypto exposure and that ETFs can lower the barrier for large investors to form measured allocations.

The flows on July 27 showed allocations moving to ether and select altcoin ETFs while some newer thematic funds continued to shed capital.
