Bitcoin ETFs start October with $102.7M in inflows

U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs recorded $102.7 million in net inflows on October’s first trading day, reversing $148.7 million in outflows a day earlier.
U.S. spot Bitcoin exchange-traded funds recorded $102.7 million in net inflows on the first trading day of October, according to SoSoValue data. The funds had recorded $148.7 million in net outflows a day earlier.
The inflows followed the funds’ strongest quarter of 2026. Bitcoin ETFs attracted $6.34 billion in net inflows during the third quarter, including $2.65 billion in September. Bitcoin’s price rose 42.71% over the same period.
The funds held combined net assets of $109.3 billion, while cumulative net inflows reached $57.6 billion. Bitcoin traded at about $85,900 at the time of publication, up 2.1% over the previous 24 hours, according to CoinGecko.
Alternative.me’s Crypto Fear & Greed Index stood at 72, down from 74 a day earlier and remaining in the “Greed” range. The index uses factors including market volatility, trading volume and social media activity.
U.S. spot Ether ETFs recorded $55.4 million in net outflows on Thursday, extending their losses to about $118 million over three consecutive trading days. Solana ETFs recorded about $6 million in net outflows, extending their outflow streak to two sessions. XRP ETFs recorded about $4 million in net inflows.
