Bitcoin ETFs Shed $167M After Big Three-Week Inflow

U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs recorded $166.8 million in outflows over the first two sessions of a holiday-shortened week, erasing about 4.4% of the $3.8 billion raised in three weeks.

U.S.-listed spot Bitcoin ETFs recorded $166.8 million in net outflows over the first two sessions of a holiday-shortened week, according to Farside Investors. Withdrawals totaled $120.2 million on Wednesday and $46.6 million on Tuesday.

The ARK 21Shares Bitcoin ETF (ARKB) led Wednesday’s redemptions with $78 million, followed by Grayscale’s Bitcoin Trust (GBTC) at $27.2 million and BlackRock’s iShares Bitcoin Trust (IBIT) with $19.5 million. Morgan Stanley’s Bitcoin Trust (MSBT) was the only fund to record inflows on Wednesday, adding $4.5 million. Across the two sessions GBTC lost $92.7 million, ARKB $69.9 million and IBIT $8.8 million. These were the first consecutive outflow days for the Bitcoin ETF group since a three-day run ended on Aug. 14.

U.S. spot Ether ETFs drew $34.7 million on Wednesday after $24.3 million in withdrawals on Tuesday, leaving the Ether group with $10.4 million in net inflows for the week so far. BlackRock’s ETHB led Ether fund inflows with $22.9 million, followed by BlackRock’s ETHA at $9.7 million and 21Shares’ TETH with $2.1 million. The remaining Ether ETFs reported no net flows on Wednesday.

Spot Solana ETFs reversed a modest Tuesday outflow of about $700,000 to attract $11.2 million on Wednesday, producing $10.5 million in net inflows across the two sessions. All Wednesday inflows into Solana ETFs went to Bitwise’s BSOL. Hyperliquid ETFs continued to see outflows for a second session, losing $5.3 million on Wednesday after $13 million on Tuesday, for a two-day total of $18.3 million in redemptions.

The two-day pullback erased about 4.4% of the $3.8 billion the funds gathered during their three-week inflow stretch. Since launch, U.S.-listed spot Bitcoin ETFs have recorded about $55 billion in cumulative net inflows, while their combined net flows for 2026 stand at roughly $1.07 billion in outflows, per Farside Investors.

Market prices were modestly lower on Thursday, with Bitcoin trading near $78,000, down from roughly $79,700 when the three-week inflow figures were reported. Ether traded around $2,470 and Solana near $101, according to CoinGecko.
