Bitcoin ETFs See $425M Outflows Led by Fidelity, BlackRock

Bitcoin ETFs posted $424.66M in net outflows on Monday, led by Fidelity’s FBTC ($245.62M) and BlackRock’s IBIT ($185.50M). Ether ETFs lost $15.41M; XRP and Solana saw no trading.

On Monday, July 13, U.S. spot bitcoin exchange-traded funds recorded $424.66 million in net outflows, with Fidelity’s FBTC accounting for $245.62 million and BlackRock’s IBIT for $185.50 million. Ether-focused ETFs reported $15.41 million in net outflows. XRP and Solana spot ETFs showed no trading activity that day.

Grayscale’s GBTC saw $53.06 million in outflows. Offsetting inflows included Grayscale’s Bitcoin Mini Trust, which added $53.38 million, and Vaneck’s HODL, which took in $6.14 million. Total value traded across bitcoin ETFs on Monday was $2.06 billion. Combined net assets in bitcoin ETFs stood at $74.79 billion.

The ether ETF group recorded $15.41 million in net outflows, largely from Fidelity’s FETH. No ether ETF posted an inflow during the session. Total trading value across ether ETFs reached $430.91 million and net assets in the segment closed at $9.46 billion.

HYPE-branded products had a $3.93 million net withdrawal, all from Bitwise’s BHYP. Value traded in HYPE products totaled $14.79 million and net assets were $327.79 million at the close.

XRP and Solana spot ETFs registered no trades on Monday, and overall turnover across crypto spot ETFs was lower than earlier peaks.

On-chain analytics firm Glassnode noted that trading volumes in U.S. spot ETFs remain roughly 78% below their peak and below 2024 levels. Glassnode added that, without stronger participation from other asset classes, a sustained recovery in bitcoin price momentum may be harder to build.

Through July so far, bitcoin ETFs have recorded four days of inflows and four days of outflows.
