12 altcoins post larger outflows; 6 tokens see higher inflows
CryptoQuant analysis of Gate data on June 23 found 12 altcoins with larger outflows than inflows, while six tokens including ETH and LINK showed higher deposits to the exchange.
On June 23, CryptoQuant published an analysis of Gate exchange netflow data showing 12 altcoins recorded larger outflows than inflows while six tokens posted larger inflows.
Assets with larger outflows included Voyager Token (VGX), AMP (AMP), 0x (ZRX), The Sandbox (SAND), Quant (QNT), yearn.finance (YFI), YFF, Chiliz (CHZ), Aavegotchi (GHST), Decentraland (MANA), Jasmycoin (JASMY) and Compound (COMP).
The data comes from Gate’s Netflow Heatmap, which measures asset-level inflows and outflows on the exchange. A larger outflow means more tokens were withdrawn from Gate than deposited during the reporting window.
Tokens with larger inflows included 1INCH, Chainlink (LINK), Ether (ETH), Uniswap (UNI), Adventure Gold (AGLD) and Fetch.ai (FET).
CryptoQuant noted that withdrawals and deposits can reflect a range of actions, including transfers to private wallets or custodial services, portfolio rebalancing, or transfers for trading and liquidity. The report provides directional flow figures and does not assign motives to individual transfers.
Exchange flow figures are used alongside other on-chain metrics to track where capital is moving. The June 23 snapshot showed differing flow patterns across Gate’s listed assets.
