Blockchain analytics firm Arkham reported Bitcoin addresses tied to Trump Media & Technology Group transferred about 2,650 BTC, roughly $204 million, to addresses labeled as Crypto.com in two outbound transactions around 8 p.m. ET Thursday.
On-chain labels identify the destination wallets as controlled by the centralized exchange Crypto.com. Transfers to exchanges are commonly followed by asset sales, but no sale tied to these transfers has been confirmed. A representative for Trump Media did not respond to requests for comment.
Trump Media purchased about $2 billion of Bitcoin and bitcoin-related securities last year. Arkham’s attribution shows the company’s Bitcoin addresses held roughly $533 million in BTC after the Crypto.com transfers. Earlier in 2026 the firm moved about 3.2 BTC, valued at roughly $245,000 at the time, to Crypto.com.
In its latest quarterly filing the company reported a net loss of nearly $406 million for Q1 2026. The loss was driven largely by non-cash items, including unrealized losses on digital assets, digital assets pledged, and equity securities. The filing showed total assets of around $2.1 billion.
The company this week shelved plans to launch a Bitcoin and a combined Bitcoin/Ethereum exchange-traded fund.
Shares of Trump Media & Technology Group, traded under the ticker DJT, were up about 1% on Friday, trading near $8.02. The stock is down more than 39% year to date and about 70% below its 52-week high of $27.00. Bitcoin traded around $76,657 on the day of the transfers; the cryptocurrency was near $119,000 when the company disclosed its initial purchase last July.
Additional disclosures filed Thursday show President Donald Trump reported securities activity related to crypto exchanges and mining stocks in 278-T forms with the U.S. Office of Government Ethics, listing trades made on behalf of the filer or a spouse or dependent. Trump Media controls the social platform Truth Social.
The on-chain record shows the funds moved into exchange-controlled wallets. The company has not disclosed the purpose of the transfers, and it is not confirmed whether the Bitcoin will be converted to cash, used in trading, or moved to other custodians.
