Ripple exec: Institutional crypto adoption ‘happening now’

Ripple Europe MD Cassie Craddock wrote on X on April 20 that institutional adoption of digital assets is ‘happening now’, citing Paris Blockchain Week and related events.

Cassie Craddock, managing director for the U.K. and Europe at Ripple, wrote on X on April 20 that institutional adoption of digital assets is “happening now,” citing meetings across Paris Blockchain Week 2026 and related events.

The gatherings included Ripple Roadshow Paris, Paris Blockchain Week, Mastercard Crypto Day at the Eiffel Tower and a Société Générale‑FORGE session at the French Ministry of Finance. Participants included banks, asset managers, fintechs and regulators who discussed practical steps for rolling out digital asset services in regulated markets.

Craddock wrote that “the debate has moved on. The focus is on infrastructure and real‑world use cases.” She wrote participants examined infrastructure needs such as custody, settlement rails and compliance processes, along with standards for deployment, operational models and scaling services across established financial firms.

Craddock referenced exchanges with speakers David Durouchoux, Myles Harrison and Frédéric Dalibard to illustrate the technical and regulatory discussions that took place.

Ripple’s Europe office led or participated in several Paris events. Ripple provides blockchain-based payment and settlement technology; at the sessions industry leaders and policy officials discussed interoperability, custody solutions and compliance pathways for regulated markets.

Craddock closed her post noting “the energy was real, the momentum even more so.”
