Ripple combines Swell and Apex for NYC event 2026

Ripple will merge its Swell conference and XRPL Apex developer summit into one New York event Oct. 27–29, 2026. Registration is open for 1,500+ attendees, 75+ speakers and three stages.

Ripple announced it will combine its annual Swell conference with the XRPL Apex developer summit into a single event in New York City on Oct. 27–29, 2026. Registration opened April 22 and the company expects more than 1,500 attendees, over 75 speakers, more than 50 sessions and three stages.

The program is organized around separate tracks across three stages and focuses on the intersection of traditional finance and on-chain activity. Sessions will run across finance and developer tracks, with scheduled panels and presentations on the XRPL roadmap, smart contracts, emerging developer tools, finance, regulation, payments infrastructure and capital markets use cases that involve on-chain settlement and tokenization.

Organizers anticipate a mixed audience that includes founders and C-suite executives from banking and fintech, senior treasury and capital markets figures, engineers and architects building on the XRP Ledger, academic researchers and students, retail participants and members of the XRP community, as well as accredited journalists and market analysts. Ripple described XRPL Apex as the official global developer summit for the XRP Ledger ecosystem, aimed at technical builders, researchers and blockchain innovators.

The combined format will present institutional finance topics and technical developer sessions within one conference structure. Ripple said the schedule will keep finance and developer tracks under the same venue so attendees from different communities can join each other’s sessions and view research and press presentations in a unified program.

Ripple posted on its social channel X: “The biggest Swell yet is coming to New York City — October 27–29, 2026. This year, Swell + Apex are combining into one unified event. Builders, financial leaders, developers, and the $XRP community all under one roof.”

Registration for Swell 2026 is open and the company described the event as its largest Swell to date. Further details on speakers, session schedules and ticketing are available through Ripple’s event registration page.
