Pudgy Penguins launches Vibes Series 3 cards at Target

Pudgy Penguins has rolled out Vibes Series 3 trading cards at Target stores across the United States. The release brings the game’s total circulated cards to 15 million and represents the largest retail rollout for the series to date.

Series 3 contains original artwork, additional gameplay mechanics and guest appearances from characters in the Moonbirds collection. The trading card game was developed in partnership with Orange Cap Games and follows two earlier series releases.

The cards are being sold on Target shelves nationwide, making physical packs of the NFT-originated game available through a national retailer. Pudgy Penguins described the release as intended to expand the game’s reach beyond the project’s online community.

Pudgy Penguins has expanded its brand into toys, games and licensed merchandise. Physical toys entered more than 2,000 Walmart stores in 2023, and the company reported in May 2024 that more than 1 million toys sold in the prior 12 months. Under the project’s licensing program, NFT holders receive 5% of net revenue from physical products that feature their individual penguins.

The franchise moved into gaming with Pengu Clash, a skill-based title launched on The Open Network in 2025, and the mobile game Pudgy Party, released in August 2025. Pudgy Penguins reported that Pudgy Party exceeded 1 million downloads before it announced it would halt further mobile development to focus resources on a browser-based game called Pudgy World.

The collection is ranked fourth among NFT collections by market capitalization, according to data tracker NFT Price Floor. The Target rollout increases the physical retail presence of the Ethereum-based collection and places the cards in mainstream stores.
