The Nordic Blockchain Conference will be held in Stockholm on May 26–27 for its eighth edition, bringing roughly 1,250 attendees to discuss digital finance, regulation and the intersection of blockchain with artificial intelligence and privacy-enhancing technologies.
Organized by the Nordic Blockchain Association, the two-day event takes place at Epicenter, Malmskillnadsgatan 44a. The program lists speakers from financial firms, protocol teams and technology vendors, including BlackRock, J.P. Morgan, Cardano, eToro, Hashgraph, Stellar, IOTA, Gnosis and BSV.
Conference sessions are grouped under three themes: Emerging Technology, Regulation & Policy, and Digital Finance. The Emerging Technology track will examine technical overlaps between distributed ledger technology, machine learning and privacy-preserving tools, including how cryptographic techniques can be combined with data-driven models and how privacy methods could affect data sharing and identity on blockchains.
The Regulation & Policy track will cover recent changes in European rules for digital assets, implementation challenges and steps firms must take to meet compliance obligations. Panels and roundtables will present regulatory detail and practical approaches for firms and public authorities.
Digital Finance sessions will address tokenized assets, custody models, stablecoins and infrastructure changes affecting capital markets. Presentations will include technical roadmaps from protocol teams and perspectives from established financial institutions on institutional access and market integration.
In addition to main-stage talks, the schedule includes policy roundtables for regulators and industry participants, a pitch competition for startups, and networking events such as an official after party and a partners and VIP evening. Organizers say the program includes curated networking opportunities and sessions intended to help companies move from concept to implementation.
The Nordic Blockchain Association has more than 100 members and partners across the Nordic and Baltic regions and provides reports and best-practice guidance to regional authorities on blockchain and web3 topics. The association describes the annual conference as the largest blockchain and web3 event in Northern Europe.
Registration details and the full program are available on the Nordic Blockchain Association website. Previous annual meetings drew regional and international participants addressing technical standards, business models and regulatory approaches for blockchain and digital assets.
