New Wallet Withdraws 1,051 BTC From Binance
A newly created wallet withdrew 1,051 BTC-about $82.35 million-from Binance in a single transaction; the destination address shows no further activity.
A newly created wallet moved 1,051 bitcoin in one on-chain transaction from Binance. At an approximate price of $78,000 per coin, the transfer was worth about $82.35 million. The receiving address has shown no subsequent outgoing transfers and the transaction was confirmed in a single block.
On-chain analytics show the receiving address was recently created. Analysts who track large transfers often note that new addresses used for sizable withdrawals can be linked to private custody arrangements or high-net-worth accounts.
Data compiled from on-chain records indicate centralized cryptocurrency platforms have reduced combined bitcoin and ether holdings by more than $26 billion since January 2026. Those records also show roughly 31.6 million ETH was removed from exchange custody in February 2026.
Market flow data for regulated products show U.S. spot bitcoin exchange-traded funds posted about $630 million in net inflows on May 1, 2026, while ether ETFs recorded approximately $101 million in net inflows on the same day.
On-chain tracking earlier in the year recorded large bitcoin holders acquiring thousands of coins over a two-month period. Separately, another large address transferred 1,000 BTC onto Binance and realized about $3.42 million in profit after the transfer.
The 1,051 BTC currently remains in the newly created address with no recorded onward movement. The transaction adds to the recent stream of large transfers moving cryptocurrency off centralized exchanges into private addresses.
