MSBT Sparks $27M Bitcoin ETF Inflows; XRP, Solana Rise
MSBT led spot Bitcoin ETF inflows of $27.29M on May 11; XRP ETFs drew $25.8M and Solana ETFs $26.57M amid optimism around the proposed Clarity Act.
On Monday, May 11, U.S. spot Bitcoin exchange-traded funds posted net inflows of $27.29 million, led by Morgan Stanley’s MSBT with $26.30 million. Invesco’s BTCO added $7.34 million and VanEck’s HODL added $4.63 million. BlackRock’s IBIT had $7.43 million in outflows and Fidelity’s FBTC shed $3.57 million. Trading volume for Bitcoin ETFs was $1.97 billion and total net assets in the category were $109.08 billion.
Ether-focused ETFs recorded net outflows of $16.89 million. BlackRock’s ETHA saw $2.12 million in inflows. Grayscale’s ETHE led withdrawals with $7.59 million, the Grayscale Ether Mini Trust had $5.55 million in outflows, Fidelity’s FETH lost $4.66 million and BlackRock’s ETHB dropped $1.20 million. Total trading value for ether ETFs was $467.73 million and net assets stood at $13.85 billion.
XRP ETFs attracted $25.80 million in net inflows. Franklin’s XRPZ accounted for $13.62 million, Bitwise’s XRP fund added $7.59 million and Grayscale’s GXRP added $4.59 million. Trading volume across XRP ETFs reached $32.31 million and the group’s net assets rose to $1.18 billion.
Trader Vincent Van Code described the view: “The Clarity Act could give banks the legal certainty to use XRP Ledger liquidity at scale.” He said proponents regard Ripple’s escrow holdings as potential institutional liquidity pools and see XRP as a high-velocity collateral asset for large settlement flows.
Solana ETFs recorded $26.57 million in inflows, led by Bitwise’s BSOL with $21.62 million. Fidelity’s FSOL and Grayscale’s GSOL added smaller amounts. Solana ETF trading totaled $103.97 million and net assets were $1.07 billion.
The trading session produced net inflows for Bitcoin, XRP and Solana products and continued outflows for ether ETFs. Market flows on the day moved capital into funds tied to regulatory clarity and blockchain infrastructure narratives.
