Libra Trust to Fund 71 Argentine Firms with $110M

Libra Trust will deploy nearly $110 million transferred by Hayden Davis to fund 71 Argentine companies that applied for grants after the Viva La Libertad token collapsed.

Libra Trust received close to $110 million from Hayden Davis, CEO of Kelsier Ventures, and will review 71 grant applications from Argentine companies seeking development funding after the collapse of the Viva La Libertad token.

The funds arrived on Nov. 22. The trust said it will organize the applications, verify their feasibility and origin, and begin distributing grants before November, contingent on how quickly applicants answer follow-up questions. In a statement the trust wrote: “The timing of the distributions will depend on the promptness with which funding applicants respond to the questions that will be sent in the coming days.” The trust added that financing decisions will be based on the needs of selected applicants and that funds will be managed to support projects that meet its criteria.

Davis transferred the proceeds from token sales to the Libra Trust on Nov. 22. He presented the transfer as a response to scam allegations made against him in an ongoing lawsuit. Trust officials said the account holds about $110 million to be used for the grant program.

The trust opened a separate process for compensation claims from Argentine nationals who reported losses tied to the Viva La Libertad token. To be considered for any portion of the funds, eligible claimants must have filed their claims before Nov. 22, 2025. The trust has not specified how much of the fund will be reserved for victims versus company grants.

Trust officials said they will perform due diligence on applicants to confirm eligibility and assess each project before allocating money. The trust has not published a detailed timeline or a complete list of award criteria, and it has not disclosed how many applications will receive funding or the final distribution breakdown.
