Jim Rickards’ Manuscript Changed Robert Kiyosaki’s View

Robert Kiyosaki says an advance copy of ‘The Entropy Trap’, shared by Jim Rickards, shifted his view on global finance and prompted warnings about trust-dependent assets.

Robert Kiyosaki said an advance manuscript of The Entropy Trap, written by Mickey M. Maini and passed to him by Jim Rickards, altered his view of how the global financial system may operate.

Kiyosaki described the manuscript as eye-opening and wrote that it “blew my mind and opened my eyes to what & why global financial change is coming.” He summarized the book’s central theme as a change in the rules that govern trust, assets and wealth.

He warned that instruments which depend on investor confidence could face severe pressure. He identified U.S. government bonds, exchange-traded funds and mutual funds as examples of assets that require trust and relayed a passage from the manuscript that reads, “All assets that require trust, assets that most people have… such as U.S. bonds, ETFs, mutual funds will be flushed down toilets, all over the world.”

Kiyosaki pointed to what he described as early signs of strain in the bond market, saying major holders such as Japan have reduced U.S. bond holdings. He did not provide supporting data for that claim. He also listed rising public and private debt, central bank policies and inflation trends as factors that could increase fragility in the global monetary system and affect the U.S. dollar’s role.

Kiyosaki plans a study session in August to examine the manuscript’s arguments further and said Jim Rickards may participate. He framed his comments as a warning rather than a prediction and noted that future market data and policy actions will determine whether the scenarios he described occur.

Kiyosaki has repeatedly highlighted bitcoin, gold and silver as alternative stores of value he believes can reduce exposure to traditional financial assets in times of currency weakness or market turbulence. Robert Kiyosaki is the author of Rich Dad Poor Dad. Jim Rickards is an economist and financial commentator. Mickey M. Maini is the author of The Entropy Trap.
