Between May 18 and May 22, investors withdrew $1.26 billion from spot bitcoin ETFs while HYPE funds drew $72.4 million, XRP ETFs gained $22 million and Solana ETFs added $15.6 million.

Most bitcoin outflows came from BlackRock’s IBIT, which lost about $1.01 billion over the five-day period. Fidelity’s FBTC recorded $111.5 million in withdrawals and Ark and 21Shares’ ARKB shed $106.8 million. Additional redemptions occurred at Bitwise’s BITB, VanEck’s HODL, Franklin’s EZBC, Valkyrie’s BRRR and Invesco’s BTCO. Morgan Stanley’s MSBT recorded a $1.1 million inflow. Trading volume across spot bitcoin ETFs was $9.27 billion for the week.

For the month-to-date through the report, bitcoin ETFs recorded $776.6 million of inflows and $2.26 billion of outflows.

Spot ether ETFs had net withdrawals of $216 million for the week. BlackRock’s ETHA led the declines; Fidelity’s FETH and Grayscale’s ether products also saw outflows. BlackRock’s ETHB posted intermittent inflows that partially offset losses.

Spot XRP ETFs posted $22 million in net inflows, with products from Canary, Franklin and Bitwise contributing. Solana ETFs added $15.6 million, led by Fidelity’s FSOL and Bitwise’s BSOL, with periodic purchases of VanEck and 21Shares offerings.

HYPE-tagged ETFs recorded $72.4 million in net inflows in their first full week of trading.

The weekly flows show capital shifted from large-cap bitcoin and ether exposure into ecosystem and growth-focused ETFs.
