Interactive Brokers Launches Prediction-Markets Hub

Interactive Brokers on May 14, 2026 launched a unified prediction-markets hub that aggregates contracts from Kalshi, CME Group and ForecastEx and routes orders to the best net price.

Interactive Brokers launched a unified prediction-markets hub on May 14, 2026 that aggregates event contracts from Kalshi, CME Group and the firm’s affiliate exchange, ForecastEx. Eligible clients can trade probability-based contracts alongside stocks, crypto and forex within a single account.

The platform uses a single interface that consolidates the three liquidity pools into one order flow. An automated routing system scans Kalshi, CME and ForecastEx in real time, compares net prices after exchange fees and available liquidity, and executes orders automatically when conditions are met. Event-contract positions appear in users’ existing Interactive Brokers portfolio view for consolidated reporting and tracking.

Contract categories available at launch focus on election outcomes, climate-related events and macroeconomic indicators such as GDP and inflation. Sports and pop culture contracts are not offered. CME event contracts will be added on a rolling basis. Product availability varies by jurisdiction and age; for example, U.S. election contracts are limited to eligible U.S. residents.

ForecastEx is offering an incentive coupon for positions held on its exchange that currently yields about 3.14% APY as part of the product rollout. Interactive Brokers stated the combined view is designed to streamline reporting and position management for traders using event contracts for hedging or speculation.

IBKR CEO Milan Galik said, “Prediction markets are reshaping how investors think about risk and uncertainty. IBKR’s Prediction Markets combines the execution advantages of competing platforms with the trusted infrastructure our clients already rely on.” Kalshi CEO Tarek Mansour described the integration as a significant development for the growth of prediction markets. CME Group Chairman Terry Duffy pointed to growing retail demand for trading views on economic benchmarks.

Kalshi reported $23.8 billion in trading volume in 2025, an increase of 1,108% from 2024. Interactive Brokers said it plans to add additional exchanges to the unified hub over time to broaden liquidity and product choice.

Prediction markets let participants buy and sell contracts that pay out based on the occurrence of specified events. Rules and eligibility for offering specific contracts are governed by regional regulation, and listings will vary by region.
