HederaCon Miami to Map Tokenization and Stablecoins
HederaCon on May 4 at Miami Beach’s Faena Forum will gather finance, policy and enterprise leaders to discuss tokenization, stablecoins, interoperability and AI in financial systems.
HederaCon will take place May 4 at the Faena Forum in Miami Beach. The one-day conference runs from 10:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. and will be followed by a cocktail reception. Organizers say the program brings together leaders from finance, policy and enterprise to address practical steps for deploying tokenized assets and programmable money.
The agenda is organized across two stages, Main Stage and The Trust Layer Stage. Sessions are scheduled to focus on how trust and infrastructure are being built into markets, payments and digital asset systems. Panels will examine operational and regulatory requirements for scaling tokenized assets and stablecoins, and the use of interoperability solutions and AI tools for transaction settlement and risk assessment.
Speakers listed include Hedera co-founder Mance Harmon and Hashgraph CEO Eric Piscini, who will discuss the development of the Hedera network and plans for broader tokenization. Dr. Leemon Baird, a founder of the underlying technology, will join a conversation on the original concept of shared worlds and its evolution into interconnected networks. The event closes with a fireside chat featuring Patrick Witt, executive director of the White House Crypto Council.
Financial firms and market infrastructure providers are on the program. A session titled “The New Global Rails: Rewiring Payments, Settlement, and Trust” will include representatives from Citi, Euroclear, DTCC and Moody’s to address how tokenized cash and stablecoins affect settlement and market plumbing. “Trust on Chain: The Tokenization Era Takes Hold” will bring participants from Archax, Aberdeen, the ERC-3643 Foundation and Red Swan to discuss tokenization in real estate, funds and foreign exchange.
Sessions on institutional adoption and interoperability list speakers from 21Shares, Canary Capital, YieldFX and ClearStreet on product development for institutional investors, and Chainlink, Fireblocks and Kaiko on cross-system connectivity and data services. Policy panels feature participants from the White House, the Blockchain Association, the Digital Chamber and the Institute of International Finance, with Summer Mersinger, Cody Carbone and Jessica Renier among those scheduled.
The Trust Layer Stage will address governance, security and open-source collaboration with contributions from the Linux Foundation, Halborn, DFNS, CryptoISAC and Vodafone. An agenda item titled “Proven Finance to Sustainable Impact” will present cases where tokenization is applied to transparency in sustainable finance and ESG markets.
HederaCon is scheduled between the Formula 1 Miami Grand Prix and the Consensus 2026 conference, which many organizers say may make it convenient for attendees already in the city to add the single-day program. The event is organized by Hedera and features panels, founder conversations and sector-specific sessions focused on operational and infrastructure questions for tokenized finance.
