Gency AI Raises $20M for Sovereign AI-Blockchain Ad Network
Gency AI raised $20 million to expand a decentralized advertising network using AI and blockchain for on-chain ad execution, privacy-preserving computing and global rollout.
San Francisco-based Gency AI announced on March 17, 2026 that it raised $20 million to expand a sovereign advertising network that combines artificial intelligence and blockchain. Gency AI plans to use the funding to scale its on-chain ad execution and settlement network, strengthen its encrypted computing stack and accelerate product deployment and partnerships across North America, Asia and Europe.
Investors in the round include Y&ZC Capital, MTmetaworld Holdings, Riverpark, ArkStream, MH Ventures, ViaBTC and Basics Capital. The company described the financing as support for a platform intended to reduce reliance on centralized ad platforms by making impressions, conversions and payments verifiable on-chain and by automating reconciliation and payments through smart contracts.
Gency AI notes that the global digital advertising market still depends largely on centralized intermediaries, which can limit transparency around attribution, data ownership and cross-party settlement. The network is designed to convert ad events and conversion outcomes into verifiable on-chain records and to automate revenue distribution through smart contracts, with the aim of shortening settlement cycles for cross-border transactions.
The technical architecture is organized around four modules. The Policy Identity module creates on-chain permissioned identities and usage boundaries for data, enabling traceable authorization management. The ESQ privacy computing layer integrates trusted execution environments, private set intersection and multi-party computation to allow encrypted computation on advertising data. The PSG clearing and settlement protocol converts advertising actions and conversion outcomes into on-chain verifiable credentials and executes revenue distribution via smart contracts. An AI optimization engine runs in an anonymous, encrypted environment to handle campaign prediction, audience matching and attribution analysis while keeping raw user data private and supporting model training without exposing underlying data.
Investors participating in the financing noted that combining AI-driven automation with verifiable computing corresponds with tighter global privacy regulations and growing demand for automated ad systems that provide auditability and autonomous settlement.
The new capital is intended to accelerate product launches and ecosystem partnerships in key markets while the company continues development of its privacy-preserving computing capabilities and on-chain settlement features.
