Fairshake PAC’s $20M Media Spending Aids Primary Winners

Fairshake PAC and affiliates spent about $20 million on media, helping four Republicans and one Democrat win primaries in Georgia and Kentucky; one backed Alabama Republican advanced to a runoff.

Fairshake PAC and affiliated committees spent about $20 million on media ahead of Tuesday’s primaries, supporting candidates in Georgia, Kentucky and Alabama. Four Republican nominees and one Democratic nominee won their contests in Georgia and Kentucky; one backed Alabama Republican moved to a runoff.

The Fairshake network includes Defend American Jobs, which supported Republican contenders, and Protect Progress, which backed Democratic candidates. The committees are largely funded by major crypto firms including Ripple Labs and Coinbase and concentrated their spending on targeted media buys during this primary cycle.

Federal Election Commission filings show Protect Progress spent more than $4.2 million supporting Jasmine Clark in Georgia’s 13th Congressional District. Defend American Jobs reported media expenditures of roughly $455,000 for Clay Fuller in Georgia’s 14th District, $709,000 for Houston Gaines in the 10th, $431,000 for Jim Kingston in the 1st, and $7.2 million for Andy Barr’s Kentucky U.S. Senate bid. In Alabama, Defend American Jobs spent about $7.4 million supporting Barry Moore; he did not secure a majority and will advance to a runoff.

Protect Progress has also focused resources in Texas. FEC records show it spent more than $4.1 million to support Christian Menefee and more than $2.8 million on media opposing Representative Al Green in Texas’ 18th Congressional District; neither candidate secured a majority, producing a runoff next Tuesday. Green has recorded votes against bills on payment stablecoins and digital-asset market structure.

Fairshake reported holding about $193 million in available funds and indicated it plans continued spending into the 2026 cycle. The group spent roughly $130 million on media and advertising in 2024.

The organization has had mixed results in past contests. FEC records show Fairshake spent about $8 million opposing Illinois Lieutenant Governor Juliana Stratton in a recent Senate primary, but she won with more than 40 percent of the vote.

In a statement, Fairshake spokesperson Geoff Vetter described the outcomes as “a clear victory for pro-crypto leaders across the country” and called the results “a powerful bipartisan mandate.”
