Enso launches app for trading 500+ tokenized assets
Swiss Web3 platform Enso launched an RWA app enabling trading of 500+ tokenized stocks, ETFs, Treasurys, commodities and stablecoins via xStocks, Ondo and Anchorage.
Enso, a Switzerland-based Web3 development platform, announced Monday the launch of a real-world asset (RWA) application that gives users access to more than 500 tokenized assets through integrations with xStocks, Ondo Finance and Anchorage Digital’s Porto. The application provides a single execution layer for tokenized stocks, exchange-traded funds, U.S. Treasurys, commodities and stablecoins.
Through the execution layer, users can route orders across the integrated partners. xStocks will provide tokenized equities and ETFs, Ondo Finance will provide tokenized equities, treasury products and capital markets infrastructure, and Anchorage Digital’s Porto will handle custody and settlement flows for assets available on the platform.
Available tokenized equities include shares of Apple, Microsoft, Nvidia, Amazon, Alphabet, Meta, Tesla and SpaceX. The platform supports around-the-clock trading of tokenized assets, a feature Enso said responds to demand from investors outside the United States.
Connor Howe, Enso co-founder and CEO, noted: “The demand concentrates in two places: tokenized access to US markets, with the around-the-clock trading traditional venues can’t match, and yield-bearing dollar assets.”
Market data show the number of tokenized asset holders rose 13.4% over the past 30 days to 930,612, while the total onchain value of tokenized assets fell about 0.9% in the same period. U.S. Treasury debt is the largest tokenized category with roughly $15 billion in onchain value, followed by tokenized commodities at about $4.6 billion and asset-backed credit at $2.2 billion. Tokenized stocks account for roughly $1.6 billion in onchain value.
Tokenized stocks first exceeded $1 billion in total onchain value on March 10. At that time, market share was concentrated among a few providers, with Ondo holding about 58% and xStocks about 24% of tokenized equities.
The launch adds another distribution channel for tokenized traditional assets in Europe, where other platforms have expanded listings of tokenized securities. Earlier this year, one European exchange widened its offering to roughly 10,000 stocks and ETFs.
Enso described the application as combining multiple issuance and custody partners into a single execution layer to simplify distribution and execution across venues. The company did not disclose trading volumes or fee structures in its announcement.
