DAZN to embed FIFA-backed Predictstreet in World Cup streams

DAZN will add ADI Predictstreet, FIFA’s blockchain-backed official prediction market partner, to live World Cup 2026 streams with real-time prediction prompts and sentiment tracking.

DAZN will embed ADI Predictstreet, FIFA’s blockchain-backed official prediction market partner, into its live World Cup 2026 streams. The features will appear before, during and after matches and include interactive prediction prompts and real-time sentiment tracking. DAZN plans to roll the integration out across its broader sports coverage.

The agreement was announced in Zurich ahead of the tournament. ADI Predictstreet is built on ADI Chain, a Layer 2 blockchain its backers say is intended for stablecoins and real-world assets in the MENA region. The platform uses ZKsync’s Airbender zero-knowledge proof technology and, according to its backers, has been audited by OpenZeppelin and Hacken. ADI Chain also provides settlement infrastructure for a dirham-backed stablecoin licensed by the UAE Central Bank.

FIFA named ADI Predictstreet its official prediction market partner on April 2 under a multi-year deal covering the World Cup and future tournaments. The DAZN agreement follows an earlier 2026 partnership with Polymarket, announced in January, in which DAZN integrated real-time probability data into broadcasts.

Predict Street Ltd received a Gibraltar license as a betting intermediary under the territory’s 2005 Gambling Act on March 26. The platform’s planned public launch on April 9 was delayed and Predictstreet.io is operating in demo mode. The Gibraltar licence currently allows the service only within the territory, which has roughly 40,000 residents.

FIFA uses integrity-monitoring firms for gambling oversight, and it has not confirmed whether those firms will monitor ADI Predictstreet. Several European countries, including Germany, the Netherlands, France and Portugal, have enacted measures to restrict or block some prediction market operators, which may affect where ADI Predictstreet can offer services.

DAZN Group CEO Shay Segev described the partnership as “a step toward embedding real-time prediction directly into the live viewing experience.” ADI Predictstreet CEO Dimitrios Psarrakis called the tie-up “a defining moment for audience engagement with sport.”
