ChangeNOW launches free API for in-app wallet swaps

ChangeNOW launched a Free Fast-Track API program that enables market-ready crypto wallets to add in-app swap functionality with no upfront launch fees. The company said the program combines a standard API connection, revenue attribution and coordinated marketing support.

Wallet teams integrate an exchange via a standard API that attributes revenue to a unique API key. ChangeNOW described the integration as a connection to aggregated liquidity across centralized and decentralized venues, removing the requirement for teams to build matching and routing backends.

ChangeNOW said the API handles liquidity aggregation, rate selection and execution so wallets can deploy swaps without developing a full exchange backend. Partners receive a 0.4% share of total exchange volume generated in their app, effective immediately, the company said.

The company described a tiered confirmation system designed to reduce deposit wait times. ChangeNOW said the system can cut waiting periods by up to 90% for assets including Monero (XMR), Polygon (MATIC), Cardano (ADA), Litecoin (LTC) and Zcash (ZEC). According to the company, standard transactions clear at minimum confirmation levels while higher-risk flows may require deeper confirmation checks, up to 50 blocks in some cases.

As part of the Fast-Track package, ChangeNOW will provide marketing and distribution support alongside technical integration. The company estimates its social channels reach more than 100,000 followers on platforms such as X and Telegram, and it projects targeted media placements could reach a cumulative audience of over 300,000 across crypto outlets. ChangeNOW also cited joint visibility opportunities at Tier-1 conferences that typically draw more than 15,000 attendees and noted those figures represent media and event reach rather than guaranteed user conversions.

ChangeNOW referenced its work with xPortal to illustrate routing and execution logic. The company said the API queries multiple liquidity sources to find competitive rates and executes swaps when routing delivers the best available price. ChangeNOW reported the approach improved price execution quality within xPortal’s existing user experience and integrated without disrupting live services.

Participation in the Fast-Track program is free, with no upfront launch fees. Integration follows a standard API model and revenue attribution is tied to each partner’s API key. Eligible projects must be market-ready and will be reviewed for inclusion in cohort-based onboarding. Wallet teams can apply for the program and will be considered for upcoming cohorts.
