Changelly Marks 11 Years, Hits 12M Users
Changelly marked its 11th anniversary with 12 million web and app users, support for 1,200 cryptocurrencies on 200 blockchains and 840 Web3 partners.
April 29, 2026 — Changelly, a Prague-based instant crypto exchange and blockchain API provider, reported its 11th anniversary and reached more than 12 million users on its web and mobile apps. The company said API integrations and embedded services extend its reach beyond that user count.
Changelly reported support for 1,200 cryptocurrencies across 200 blockchains, adding roughly 200 coins in the past year. The company also highlighted Changelly DeFi, a cross-chain swap product available on the web and as a standalone app, and said that including that product the platform’s roster of supported assets exceeds one billion.
The firm said its partner network expanded to 840 Web3 companies after signing 240 new collaborations in the last 12 months. Changelly described its blockchain API and embedded exchange tools as sources of those integrations. The company also operates a fiat on-ramp aggregator that it said brings together more than 220 offers from verified providers, enabling purchases of over 350 cryptocurrencies using more than 20 global payment methods.
User activity data from the anniversary release showed Changelly added about 2 million new users in the past year. Registration spikes often followed notable price movements, the company reported. The most-traded assets on the platform included Bitcoin, Ethereum, Solana, XRP and TRON. Changelly also named several altcoins trading heavily on the service, including VIRTUAL, AIXBT, PENGU, GRASS, HYPE and CC.
The company pointed to long-term customer activity as evidence of retention, noting users who joined five or more years ago continue to transact on the platform and that one account completed more than 16,000 transactions over eight years.
John Adam Khandjian, Changelly’s chief growth officer, commented: “Reaching 12 million users is a milestone we’re proud of, but it’s the depth of engagement that tells the real story. Our longest-standing users have made millions of secure and fast crypto transactions.” Wendy Chen, head of PR at SecuX, expressed support for the anniversary, calling Changelly a partner that stands for “ease, trust, and innovation.” Robin O’Connell, CEO Enterprise at Uphold, described the partnership as collaborative and focused on the user experience.
To mark the anniversary, Changelly launched an in-app “11th Birthday Mystery Boxes” game on April 28 that runs through May 11, with final prize announcements on May 12. Users receive one initial try in the app and can earn extra chances by completing transactions. Prizes listed by the company include hardware wallets and limited-edition items, NFT cards, USDT prizes up to 200 USDT, VIP status, fee discounts and educational guides. The company directed participants to read the game’s terms and conditions.
