BlackRock Adds $116M to IBIT as Bitcoin ETFs See Five-Day Inflows
BlackRock added $116.48 million to IBIT as U.S. spot bitcoin ETFs logged five straight days of inflows, drawing $226.92 million on July 20 and keeping bitcoin above $66,000.
BlackRock added $116.48 million to its iShares Bitcoin Trust (IBIT) on July 20, as U.S. spot bitcoin ETFs collected $226.92 million that day. The inflows extended a five-day streak of net additions and bitcoin traded above $66,000.
The five-day total of net inflows to bitcoin ETFs reached about $727.25 million. Total trading value across the bitcoin ETF category was $1.74 billion and combined net assets closed at $79.16 billion. Grayscale’s GBTC recorded a $45.40 million withdrawal on July 20, the only net outflow among bitcoin funds.
BlackRock’s IBIT captured the largest share of new capital with $116.48 million. ARK 21Shares’ ARKB added $72.74 million, Grayscale’s Bitcoin Mini Trust took in $41.45 million and Fidelity’s FBTC recorded $24.07 million. Bitwise’s BITB gained $8.83 million, Morgan Stanley’s MSBT added $6.90 million and Vaneck’s HODL brought in $1.84 million.
Ether ETFs posted $38.09 million of inflows on July 20. BlackRock’s ETHA led the category with $34.31 million, Fidelity’s FETH added $2.83 million and 21Shares’ TETH drew about $946,000. Ether ETF trading volume for the day was $593.28 million and net assets for the category stood at $10.29 billion.
XRP ETFs collected $2.49 million, all directed to Bitwise’s product, with $11.67 million traded and $1.02 billion in net assets. Solana ETFs added $2.64 million, led by Bitwise’s BSOL, with $77.16 million traded and $902.68 million in net assets. HYPE-branded ETFs recorded no flows on July 20 following their first weekly net outflow in the prior week.
Crypto commentator @MartiniGuyYT noted the five-day buying streak was the longest since May.
