Bitdeer Q2 Bitcoin production rises nearly fivefold
Bitdeer mined 2,694 BTC in Q2 2026, up from 565 a year earlier, and ended the quarter with 150 BTC after liquidating a 943 BTC treasury in February.
Bitdeer mined 2,694 BTC in the second quarter of 2026, up from 565 BTC in Q2 2025. The company finished the quarter holding 150 BTC after liquidating a 943 BTC treasury in February, figures included in Bitdeer’s Q2 filing released Monday.
Revenue for the quarter was $228.8 million, a 47% increase from $155.6 million a year earlier. Self-mining revenue made up $168.4 million of that total as the company’s average self-mining hashrate rose 389% year-over-year to 69.5 exahashes per second.
Net loss widened to $92.3 million from $62.9 million in the prior-year quarter.
Bitdeer sold its 943 BTC treasury to improve liquidity and described the sale as a financing decision rather than a retreat from its core mining operations. On-balance Bitcoin holdings fell about 90% from 1,502 BTC a year earlier to 150 BTC at quarter end.
The reported revenue slightly exceeded the market consensus of $225 million, and Bitdeer’s shares rose about 1.5% in premarket trading after a roughly 15% decline over the previous month.
The company has expanded into AI data centers and high-performance computing. In August Bitdeer signed a 16-year lease in Norway for 121 megawatts of AI computing capacity, a deal it values at $4.7 billion.
The Q2 figures and the disclosures on the treasury sale and AI investments were published in Bitdeer’s filing on Monday.
