Bitcoin, Ether ETFs near $1B in October outflows
U.S. spot Bitcoin and Ether ETFs recorded $986.3 million in combined net outflows in October. Ether funds posted withdrawals for an eighth straight session.
U.S. spot Bitcoin and Ether exchange-traded funds recorded $986.3 million in combined net outflows in October as Bitcoin’s price weakened.
Bitcoin ETFs recorded $244.1 million in net outflows Thursday, following $484.9 million in withdrawals Wednesday, according to Farside Investors. Wednesday’s outflow was the largest single-day withdrawal from the funds since June 25.
Ether ETFs posted $72.5 million in net outflows Thursday. The funds have recorded withdrawals in every trading session since Sept. 29, bringing total outflows during the eight-session streak to about $641.3 million.
Bitcoin ETFs have recorded $407.4 million in net outflows this month, while Ether ETFs have lost $578.9 million. Combined outflows stand at $986.3 million.
Bitcoin fell as low as $80,427 Thursday, according to CoinGecko, and was trading at $82,506 at the time of publication.
