Bitcoin ETF Outflows Ease to $316M; XRP, HYPE See Inflows

Spot bitcoin ETFs had $315.84 million in net outflows for June 8-12; XRP funds gained $10.68 million and HYPE products added $5.87 million.

Crypto exchange-traded funds registered net outflows for the week of June 8-12, but the pace of selling slowed from earlier weeks. Spot bitcoin ETFs recorded $315.84 million in net redemptions for the period, while ether ETFs saw $14.91 million in net outflows. XRP and HYPE products attracted inflows.

The largest weekly outflow among bitcoin products came from BlackRock’s IBIT, which lost $355 million. Grayscale’s GBTC posted $87.9 million in outflows and Vaneck’s HODL recorded $13 million in net redemptions during the same week.

Several bitcoin funds reported inflows. Fidelity’s FBTC added $55.7 million and Ark & 21Shares’ ARKB took in $39.1 million. Grayscale’s Bitcoin Mini Trust gained $27.5 million. Morgan Stanley’s MSBT attracted $7.1 million, Bitwise’s BITB added $6.2 million, Hashdex’s DEFI brought in $3.6 million and WisdomTree’s BTCW posted $980,000.

Trading on Friday, June 12, reduced the weekly outflow total for bitcoin products. Bitcoin ETFs saw $85.9 million of net inflows that day, led by IBIT’s $57.7 million return, FBTC’s $18 million, BITB’s $5.2 million, ARKB’s $3.2 million and HODL’s $1.8 million.

Ether ETFs opened the week with $82.37 million in inflows on Monday but moved into outflows over the next four sessions. Ether funds posted exits of $40.85 million on Tuesday, $35.59 million on Wednesday, $15.89 million on Thursday and $4.95 million on Friday, leaving a $14.91 million net weekly outflow.

Among altcoin-focused products, XRP ETFs recorded $10.68 million in net inflows for the week, with contributions from Bitwise and Franklin-managed vehicles. Daily inflows for XRP included $7.44 million on Tuesday, $1.19 million on Wednesday and $2.04 million on Friday. HYPE-branded products added $5.87 million, with inflows into Bitwise’s BHYP and Grayscale’s HYPG. Solana ETFs were net negative, losing $2.58 million for the week, including a $4.38 million outflow on Thursday led by Bitwise’s BSOL.

Earlier in May and early June, several weekly withdrawals exceeded $1 billion. For June 8-12 the outflows were smaller in scale and were concentrated among specific issuers and products.
