21Shares Lists STRC ETN on LSE; 11.5% Yield for UK Investors

21Shares listed the Strategy Yield ETN (STRC) on the London Stock Exchange, offering UK investors exchange-traded access to Strategy Inc.’s Bitcoin-backed preferred shares and an 11.50% annual yield.

21Shares launched the Strategy Yield ETN (STRC) on the London Stock Exchange on Wednesday, providing UK investors exchange-traded access to Strategy Inc.’s variable-rate Series A perpetual preferred stock. The ETN delivers an 11.50% annual distribution, paid monthly in cash. According to 21Shares, distributions are tax-deferred for UK investors and the product carries no management fee.

STRC passes through income from the underlying preferred shares and links yield to Strategy’s Bitcoin holdings. The distribution rate is reviewed monthly and includes a floor tied to short-term interest rates.

Strategy Inc., based in Tysons, Virginia, holds about 818,334 BTC, valued at nearly $67 billion. The company has raised roughly $5.58 billion in 2026 by issuing preferred securities and using the proceeds to buy additional Bitcoin. The ETN provides a way for UK investors to gain yield exposure to those preferred shares without purchasing them directly.

Strategy reported a $14.5 billion net loss for the first quarter of 2026, largely from a decline in the value of its Bitcoin holdings. The company revised a prior policy and stated it would sell Bitcoin when doing so is “advantageous to the company.”

Strategy’s common stock, MSTR, was trading around $183.45, up roughly 44% over the last month. Bitcoin rose about 18% in the past month to near $81,750 but remained below its October high above $126,000.

Duncan Moir, president of 21Shares, called the listing “a definitive moment for the U.K. market” and described the ETN as “an easy-to-access investment product that combines high income potential with a familiar exchange traded structure.” Phong Le, Strategy’s president and CEO, described STRC as “an innovation in the capital markets that provides the upside of a Bitcoin-backed security, with the stability of a traditional credit product.”

The ETN is listed and traded on the LSE. The issuer highlights monthly cash distributions, the tax-deferred treatment referenced by 21Shares and the absence of a management fee as features of the product, along with the monthly review and interest-rate-linked floor for the distribution rate.
