Aster climbs to No.1 for daily fees among perp DEXs
Aster has jumped to the top of DefiLlama’s 24‑hour fee ranking. The BNB Chain–centric perp DEX – a decentralized exchange for perpetual futures – pulled in over $25 million in fees (protocol revenue from trading commissions), outpacing Hyperliquid and the rest of the field. Hyperliquid, by comparison, showed about $3.2 million for the day. 
Tom Lee (BitMine): Ethereum is Wall Street’s blockchain of choice
At Korea Blockchain Week’s Impact conference, BitMine chairman Tom Lee called Ethereum a “truly neutral chain” that Wall Street will favor, adding that the White House and Congress are leaning toward it under the current administration. He linked that stance to a coming token economy for agentic AI and robots – and to BitMine’s pivot into an ETH treasury.

Maple Finance and Elwood Technologies announced a partnership to integrate Maple's lending platform with Elwood's execution and risk management software. The partnership links Maple with Elwood’s execution, portfolio-management and risk tools to streamline access to on-chain credit for banks and asset managers. 
CZ raises $1.3M for Giggle Academy in crypto donations
Giggle Academy, the free‑education project founded by Binance co‑founder Changpeng “CZ” Zhao, collected more than $1 million in crypto donations within about 12 hours after opening its on‑chain address on Sunday. Most funds came via a new memecoin, $GIGGLE, which sends BNB fee revenue directly to the academy’s wallet. Monero suffers 18-block reorg, wiping 36 minutes of transactions
Monero’s chain reorganized by 18 blocks, voiding roughly 36 minutes of activity and about 117 transactions. Community devs flagged a likely move to temporarily rolling DNS checkpoints as pools review practices after a hidden chain overtook the main network.
