Whitewallet 2025 year in review: Multi-chain expansion and cross-chain swaps

Whitewallet 2025 year in review: Multi-chain expansion and cross-chain swaps - GNcrypto

Whitewallet closed 2025 with substantial expansion: five new EVM networks, Solana support, cross-chain swaps, and localization into five languages.

The wallet now supports ten blockchains and enables cross-chain swaps between eight EVM networks, allowing users to move and exchange assets without switching wallets or relying on external bridge services. Over twelve months, the product has evolved from single-network asset storage to multi-chain interaction.

Whitewallet is a non-custodial wallet in the WhiteBIT ecosystem, where users retain control over their private keys and assets. It supports several popular and in-demand blockchain networks, facilitates cross-chain operations, and provides token management tools for users working in different ecosystems.

2025 Feature rollout

July – Swaps on Whitechain

Whitewallet introduced native swap functionality on Whitechain, allowing users to exchange assets without leaving the wallet interface.

August – WalletConnect integration

Support for external dApps was added through WalletConnect. Users can now interact with DeFi protocols, NFT platforms, and Web3 services directly from the wallet, without transferring funds elsewhere.

October – Five EVM networks

Base, Arbitrum, BNB Chain, Optimism, and Linea were added, each launched with commonly used assets on those networks. This expanded coverage from four networks to nine within a single month.

November – Cross-chain swaps

Cross-chain swap functionality was introduced, enabling direct asset exchanges between supported EVM networks. This allows value to move between blockchains without manual network switching or third-party bridges.

November – Token management

The interface was updated to allow users to customize which tokens appear on the main screen. Identical tokens held across different networks are now grouped together, reducing clutter for users managing assets on multiple chains.

November – Language expansion

Ukrainian, Polish, Italian, Spanish, and Russian were added, expanding accessibility beyond English-speaking markets.

December – Solana support

Solana was integrated, adding another non-EVM blockchain (alongside TON and TRON) and extending coverage to a major DeFi and NFT ecosystem.

User scenario

A user holding USDC on Ethereum can now swap directly to SOL on Solana without bridging through a centralized exchange or third-party service. The wallet calculates the route, executes the swap, and settles the transaction – a process that previously required multiple external tools.

Product lead statement

Commenting on the roadmap, the Whitewallet Product Lead said:

Our next year’s roadmap is packed. We’re working on features that remove the things that still make Web3 finance feel complicated compared to Web2. The goal is to let users manage crypto with the same level of clarity and confidence they expect from traditional financial apps. For us, progress means making Web3 tools understandable and practical for regular people.
