Uniswap Labs launches TJAR to convert onchain app fees

Uniswap Labs launched TJAR, an open system that converts applications’ onchain fees into a token chosen by each app. Robinhood is its first integration partner.

Uniswap Labs launched TJAR on Oct. 29, 2026, giving applications a way to convert fees collected in different tokens into one selected token. Robinhood is the system’s first integration partner.

Applications often receive fees in the tokens their users trade. Over time, this can leave an app holding many tokens across several blockchains. Consolidating those assets has generally required custom conversion systems.

Under TJAR, an app deposits its fee tokens into a Token Jar. Searchers, or market participants seeking conversion opportunities, compete to exchange the assets. The app then receives the proceeds in its chosen token.

The Token Jar framework was first developed for fees generated by the Uniswap Protocol. In September 2026, it processed more than $15.3 million in conversions, according to Uniswap Labs.

TJAR is live on seven blockchains. Documentation, deployment addresses and implementation guides are available through the Uniswap Developer Platform. Uniswap Labs expects more integration partners to join.

Uniswap Labs is a core contributor to the Uniswap Protocol, a decentralized exchange that has recorded more than $4.7 trillion in cumulative trading volume. The company operates the Uniswap Web App, Uniswap Wallet, Uniswap API and UniswapX.
