Trump Media offers Wall Street low-latency access to Trump posts

Trump Media is selling a paid Truth API giving low-latency, machine-readable access to posts from key Truth Social accounts, including President Trump, for high-frequency traders.

Trump Media announced a paid Truth API that gives Wall Street firms low-latency, machine-readable access to posts from prominent Truth Social accounts, including President Donald Trump. Institutional customers are scheduled to gain access beginning Aug. 1, 2026.

The Truth API is designed to deliver a direct, licensed, real-time stream of the platform’s most market-moving posts to clients operating automated trading systems. The product targets high-frequency and algorithmic trading desks that require minimal delay between a post and a trading signal.

Kevin McGurn, interim CEO of TMTG, said, “Markets already move on Truth Social posts. Truth API delivers a direct, licensed, real-time feed of the platform’s most market-moving Truths while advancing our strategy to monetize proprietary assets through a high-margin, recurring revenue stream.”

Trump Media listed accounts included in the feed such as President Trump, Donald Trump Jr., Eric Trump and Kash Patel. The company pointed to recent examples in which posts by the president affected market activity, including messages linked to tensions between the United States and Iran.

High-frequency firms typically connect data feeds directly into trading systems so algorithms can act within milliseconds of a signal. Trump Media described the Truth API as providing that machine-readable, low-latency connection on a paid, institutional basis.

The company did not disclose pricing, latency figures, throughput limits or technical access methods. It said the offering is part of a plan to generate recurring revenue from licensed institutional clients.

Trump Media also addressed unauthorized data collection. The company reported that some firms have scraped Truth Social in violation of its terms of service and warned it will increase friction for parties that access the platform outside approved channels.

Trump Media operates Truth Social. The announcement did not include specific compliance or data-use rules tied to the Truth API beyond licensing.
