Strive’s Bitcoin holdings top $2 billion
Strive’s Bitcoin holdings surpassed $2 billion after five weeks of gradual purchases this month, the firm reported.
Strive, an asset manager, has more than $2 billion in Bitcoin after five weeks of steady purchases conducted this month. The firm’s Bitcoin position exceeded $2 billion at current market prices.
Purchases were carried out through routine market trades and direct transactions and were executed gradually to limit price impact. The acquisitions were spread across multiple trading venues, including over-the-counter desks commonly used by institutions for large blocks.
The firm acquired the Bitcoin on behalf of its funds and clients with digital-asset exposure. Company officials characterized the activity as portfolio management driven by client demand rather than a single tactical bet.
Funding for the purchases came from cash reserves and reallocated assets within certain funds, enabling Strive to increase its position without issuing new shares or taking on additional leverage.
The newly acquired Bitcoin is held with regulated institutional custody providers that offer security and governance controls. Strive continues to report holdings and performance to investors through its regular reporting channels.
Strive has not disclosed what share of its total assets under management the Bitcoin represents. The accumulation follows wider institutional allocation to Bitcoin after regulators approved spot-Bitcoin exchange-traded products, which provided easier access through traditional investment vehicles.
Strive said custody, compliance and execution practices guided how it scaled the holdings. The firm will adjust allocations based on client requests and portfolio objectives.
