Analysts measured app revenue by aggregating protocol and application fee flows tied to smart contracts and on-chain transactions. The comparison covered receipts recorded on-chain, including transaction fees, trading commissions and in-app charges.
The figures represent gross on-chain income captured by smart contracts and wallets during the reporting window. They do not include off-chain income such as advertising, external subscriptions, custodial transfers or operating expenses.
On Robinhood Chain, transaction volume, user activity and the app’s fee mechanics produced higher recorded receipts in the sampled window. On Ethereum, overall fees from smart-contract interactions and decentralized finance activity remained substantial, but no single app in the sample matched the Robinhood Chain application’s on-chain receipts. Apps on Hyperliquid showed lower app-level revenue totals in the same dataset.
Differences in fee models, fee allocation, user onboarding and transaction cadence across the three networks affect how revenue appears in on-chain records. The reporting approach isolates money that flows through contracts and wallets to allow direct comparison of application-level receipts across platforms.
