Interactive Brokers Adds Ethereum Staking for Eligible Clients

Interactive Brokers has launched Ethereum staking for eligible clients through its Client Portal, with rewards credited as additional staked ETH. Availability varies by country and affiliate.
Interactive Brokers has launched Ethereum staking for eligible clients through its Client Portal. The service lets customers submit staking and unstaking requests and monitor pending activity through a Staking Dashboard.
ZeroHash, a digital-asset infrastructure company, provides the staking service. The initial offering is limited to Ethereum, and availability depends on the Interactive Brokers affiliate serving the account and the customer’s country of residence.
Rewards depend on network activity and are not guaranteed. When available, they are credited as additional staked ETH and can compound while the position remains staked. Interactive Brokers did not disclose a reward rate, any fee charged by ZeroHash or a timeline for supporting other proof-of-stake cryptocurrencies.
In the company’s announcement, Chief Executive Officer Milan Galik compared the service with Interactive Brokers’ Stock Yield Enhancement Program, which lets clients earn income on shares they hold.
“Similar to how our Stock Yield Enhancement Program allows clients to earn additional income on shares they own, staking gives clients an opportunity to earn rewards on the cryptocurrency they own,” Galik said. “We want clients to earn more from the assets they hold.”
The launch expands Interactive Brokers’ cryptocurrency services, which include trading in 20 digital assets, including Bitcoin, Ethereum, Solana, Cardano, Avalanche, Chainlink, Dogecoin, Litecoin, Ripple, Sui and Uniswap. Clients can fund accounts with the USDC, RLUSD and PYUSD stablecoins and transfer assets to external wallets.
Interactive Brokers did not say whether staking will become available for additional cryptocurrencies or in more jurisdictions. Providers including Lido and Stakely launched public and institutional Ethereum staking vaults in September 2026.
