Flexa expands crypto payments to 37 European markets
Flexa expanded its regulated payments platform across 37 SEPA countries on July 8, 2026, letting merchants and institutions accept crypto and receive euro-settled payouts via SEPA.
Flexa on July 8, 2026 announced an expansion of its regulated payments platform across 37 SEPA countries and territories, enabling merchants, institutions and developers to accept crypto payments and receive euro-settled payouts through the Single Euro Payments Area.
The rollout lets businesses accept payments online, in person and in apps while settling immediately in euros via SEPA. Merchants can connect through existing payment processors and do not need to replace checkout hardware or rebuild back-office systems.
The company said the platform removes merchant custody requirements and direct exposure to cryptocurrency volatility; it added that payments processed on the network carry no chargeback risk and that transfers are guaranteed at the moment of authorization to prevent reversals.
The technology follows Flexa deployments in the United States, Canada and El Salvador. European operations are anchored by Flexa Polska in Warsaw, a unit established last year ahead of the EU’s Markets in Crypto-Assets Regulation (MiCA). The company cited Poland’s technology investment and regulatory support as reasons for choosing the regional base.
Trevor Filter, Flexa’s cofounder and CEO, said: “Businesses across Europe have made it clear they want money movement that simply works-no custody, no volatility, no surprises.” Upneet Teji, the company’s president and chief legal officer, added that establishing Flexa Polska reflects a long-term commitment and requires regulatory, compliance and operational foundations alongside payment technology.
Beyond merchant checkout, the expansion creates a foundation for cross-border transfers, remittances and business disbursements across SEPA. According to Flexa, organizations can move digital assets and stablecoins between the United States and Europe and across European borders with settlement in seconds on the same network.
Flexa did not provide a timeline for wider deployments. Customer uptake and future integrations will determine the pace of further rollouts.
