Dubai to Host RWA Summit May 1 on Tokenization

RWA SUMMIT Dubai will convene May 1, 2026 at Uptown Tower (DMCC) with more than 400 senior participants and 1,500 registrants to discuss institutional tokenization and regulatory frameworks.

Dubai will host RWA SUMMIT on May 1, 2026 at Uptown Tower in the Dubai Multi Commodities Centre (DMCC). Organizers expect more than 400 senior participants and over 1,500 registrants for the one-day conference, which is part of the RWA WEEK initiative connecting regional tokenization ecosystems.

The summit will gather institutional investors, regulators, company founders and infrastructure providers to discuss operational questions involved in putting real-world assets on blockchain ledgers. Planned agenda topics include tokenizing financial products, commodities and real estate; payment and settlement infrastructure; institutional scaling strategies; the intersection of decentralized and traditional finance called RWAFI; and the use of artificial intelligence in tokenization systems.

Earlier this year, RWA SUMMIT Hong Kong reported 2,322 registrations, 745 senior attendees and 147 active investors. The Dubai event is presented as a regional entry point linking Asia and the Middle East in tokenized finance discussions.

Organizers cited recent regulatory developments in the UAE and the concentration of capital allocators in Dubai when selecting the city. The summit will take place inside the DMCC free zone, a business district that local officials and industry participants have promoted as supportive of digital asset activity and legal frameworks for tokenized offerings.

Confirmed speakers include Mohammed Ebrahim Al Fardan of Al Fardan Ventures, Ahmed Bin Sulayem, executive chairman and CEO of DMCC, Ruben Bombardi of VARA, and Rajat Sakhuja of Mastercard. Representatives from the dYdX Foundation, Solana Superteam Middle East and ZIGChain are also listed among contributors.

RWA SUMMIT Dubai is co-hosted by UVECON.VC and RWAlabs.ae, with strategic partners that include the dYdX Foundation, NeosLegal, NewTribe Capital and LynxCap Investments.

“Hong Kong demonstrated that institutional capital is no longer watching from the sidelines,” Ivan V. Ivanov, founder of UVECON.VC and co-host of RWA WEEK, said, describing the momentum behind current institutional discussions. Irina Heaver, founder of NeosLegal and a founding member of RWAlabs.ae, added, “Tokenization scales only when legal architecture, regulatory clarity and capital alignment evolve together.”
