Digital Assets Week returns to New York with Deutsche Bank as host

Digital Assets Week USA is back in New York on May 13–14, 2026 – this year hosted by Deutsche Bank. The two-day conference gathers 400–500 senior participants to explore live asset tokenization projects, market infrastructure, and regulatory updates.
This growth highlights how institutional players are increasingly experimenting with digital-first settlements and tokenized investment vehicles.
What the conference covers
DAW New York is built around one specific thesis: the commercialization of tokenizing real-world assets (RWA) at scale. Sessions cover: public markets on-chain, tokenized private markets & secondary liquidity, 24/7 settlement infrastructure, stablecoins & CBDCs, interoperability challenges, TradFi vs. crypto custody convergence, and DeFi exposure limits.
The format runs across panel discussions and roundtables, with the emphasis on implementation over theory.

Deutsche Bank’s role as host is a reflection of where the bank itself stands on tokenization. The institution has been actively involved in blockchain-based bond issuance – including a 300 million euro bond for Siemens – and is preparing to launch crypto custody services in 2026 in partnership with Bitpanda and Taurus. Sabih Behzad, Head of Digital Assets and Currencies Transformation, frames Deutsche Bank’s goal as enabling instant creation, trading, and settlement of tokenized assets – a practical step in the next phase of capital markets.
