Dar Global and the Trump Organization will launch an RWA hotel
Dar Global and The Trump Organization have introduced two major projects: the launch of Trump International Hotel Maldives and the creation of the world’s first tokenized development in the luxury hospitality sector. The announcement was made on November 17 in Dubai.
Trump International Hotel Maldives will be the brand’s first property in the Maldives. Located 25 minutes by boat from Malé, the hotel will feature around 80 ultra-luxury beach and overwater villas. The opening is planned for late 2028 and will cater to guests seeking privacy, exclusivity, and premium service.
The second part of the announcement is the launch of the world’s first tokenized hotel development. Unlike earlier models that tokenized completed properties, Dar Global is applying tokenization during the construction phase. This gives investors the opportunity to participate from the beginning, gaining access to premium assets in the growing hospitality real estate market. The company says the model introduces a new form of project financing and expands access to early-stage investment.
