Certik to Run Skykode Validator Nodes on XDC Network

Certik signed an MOU to become an institutional masternode validator for XDC Network and will operate Skykode nodes to secure trade finance and RWA tokenization.

Web3 security firm Certik signed a memorandum of understanding to become an institutional masternode validator for the XDC Network. Under the agreement, Certik will deploy and operate validator nodes on XDC using its enterprise node solution, Skykode. The work is aimed at securing blockchain infrastructure used for trade finance and tokenization of real-world assets.

Certik’s Skykode deployment will include automated threat mitigation, continuous vulnerability scanning and node-level penetration testing. The design will use multi-region sentry nodes and redundant failover protection to help maintain consensus during periods of high network congestion.

XDC Network uses a hybrid architecture that combines a public ledger with private subnetwork capabilities to support institutional settlement and trade finance workflows. The architecture allows public verification alongside permissioned environments for enterprise processes.

Atul Khekade, co-founder of XDC Network, said, “Certik is one of the most recognized names in blockchain security, and having them validate our network is a meaningful signal to institutions. The institutions moving into trade finance and asset settlement are making long-term infrastructure decisions, and we want XDC Network to be the answer they keep coming back to.”

Ronghui Gu, Certik co-founder and CEO, added, “Certik is honored to join the XDC Network as an Institutional Masternode Validator. Traditional trade finance and RWA tokenization require rigorous risk management, strong security foundations, and operational resilience. Through this collaboration, we are bringing our security and infrastructure expertise to help strengthen the network and support the trusted infrastructure needed for institutional adoption.”

Certik joins other institutional validators on XDC, including Animoca Brands, Deutsche Telekom, SBI Holdings and UOB Venture Management. The companies stated they will work together to develop infrastructure to scale institutional RWA tokenization and support broader enterprise settlement needs.
